Write to [email protected]. That single address handles everything to do with this site: bugs in the calculator, accessibility problems, questions about the formulas or the conversion factors, and corrections when something on a page is wrong. Email is the only channel - there is no form on this page, no phone line and no chat.
What to write about
Anything in these four categories is worth sending. You do not need to work out which one your message belongs to - just describe what happened.
- 1 A bug. The calculator returned a number you believe is wrong, a mode or field behaved strangely, a button did nothing, or the page broke on your device.
- 2 An accessibility issue. Something is unusable with a keyboard, a screen reader, browser zoom, high-contrast mode or reduced motion.
- 3 A formula question. You want to know why a figure is calculated the way it is, or how the hourly, weekly, biweekly, monthly and annual conversions are derived.
- 4 A correction. An explanation, an assumption, a worked example or an FAQ answer is inaccurate, out of date or misleading.
General feedback on wording, layout or a missing feature is welcome too, in the same place.
What to include in a bug report
A wrong-looking number is almost always reproducible, but only if the report says exactly what was on screen. Please include as much of this as you can:
- The inputs you typed - every figure you entered, exactly as you typed it, including commas or decimal points.
- The pay cadence you selected - per hour, per week, per two weeks, per month or per year.
- The calculation mode you selected - percentage raise, fixed raise amount, or old pay to new pay.
- The result you expected, and how you worked it out if you did the arithmetic yourself.
- The result you actually got, copied from the page. The result panel has a Copy result as text button that captures the whole breakdown in one go.
- Your browser and device - for example "Safari on an iPhone" or "Chrome on Windows 11" - plus the browser version if you know it.
- A screenshot, if one makes the problem clearer. It is useful but never required.
For an accessibility report, the assistive technology you were using and the step where you got stuck matter more than the numbers. For a formula question or a correction, quoting the sentence or figure you are asking about is enough.
What not to send
The calculator itself never transmits your pay figures anywhere - the arithmetic runs inside your own browser. Email is different: anything you put in a message reaches a mailbox and stays there. Please keep sensitive material out of it.
Do not send salary documents, offer letters, payslips, employment contracts, tax identification numbers, national insurance or social security numbers, bank or card details, passwords, or any other sensitive personal data. None of it is needed to reproduce a calculation bug, and anything of that kind that arrives will be deleted rather than acted on.
If your real numbers feel too personal to share, substitute round ones. A bug that appears with 52,000 and 4.5% will appear just as reliably with 50,000 and 5%, and that is enough to track it down. If you send a screenshot, crop or blank out anything identifying before attaching it.

What this address is not
This is a small independent tool, not a company with a support desk. There is no service level agreement, no ticket queue and no staffed office - just an inbox that gets read.
Nothing sent here can be treated as financial, tax, legal or employment advice, and none can be given in reply. Questions like whether a raise offer is fair, what your take-home pay will be after deductions, or how a rule applies to your contract or jurisdiction depend on circumstances this site knows nothing about. What can be answered is how this calculator arrives at its numbers.
The tool also cannot help with anything to do with your employer or your payroll provider. Errors on a payslip, missing back pay or a disputed increase belong with them, not here.
Email address
A short, specific subject line helps - for example "Hourly conversion looks wrong in fixed amount mode" rather than "Problem". Reports that include the inputs, the cadence and the mode are the ones that get fixed fastest.
